It's been a long time since I've blogged! Now my favorite baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals. They have a batter that came in for Albert Pujols when he injured his wrist and he came in and had 23 homeruns! Than Albert came in and I was thinking they have to get him in the batting order, so why not have him hit for the pitcher and than maybe let him go in at first for Albert for a couple of innings. I was like why isn't he in? He has more homeruns than Paul Konerko! He ended up making the allstar game but not the homerun derby. If you comment, tell me why you think he didn't make it.

Hello! Guess what? I finished it! When I'm done I'm supposed to write another chapter, so:
                    Chapter 23

Percy is going back home, he's packing his bag from Camp Half-Blood. He'll miss Annabeth and Grover but he feels he has to go back because his mom is back. Gabe is gone so it's going to be a lot better. Percy is so glad to see his mom back. His mom is going back to Long Island for vacation, when they get there, Poseidon is there waiting for them. Percy is actually happy to see his father and mother happy. They move into an apartment and live there. But Poseidon does go back to the Empire State building to be a god. He does come back sometimes. But Percy doesn't really care, he just loves seeing his mother back. He does go and see Annabeth sometimes. 
That's the end of that chapter. I would really recommend this book if you like stories about gods and magic and monsters.

Osama Bin Laden Is Dead!

Hello! And today I'm blogging about something very special. Osama Bin Laden was the man who was involved in many terrorist attacks. Including 9/11. He has been on the world's most wanted list for 13 years. The Navy Seals killed him! There were 2 helicopters that held the Seals, one crash landed but nobody was hurt. They started shooting, they killed 2 guards, his adult son, a woman that was used as a human shield, and of course Osama bin Laden. They brought him back in the U.S. helicopter. One of the Pakistan traditions is to berry him in the ground, but the U.S. berried him in sea. They drove out to the ocean, covered him in white cloth, and dropped him in the ocean. There was a big reward if you found Osama, but he's dead now. They took blood samples and it is 99.9% that is really Osama. They trying to get some proof that he's really dead, because Pakistan may be thinking that we're just joking. But that was just one person out of many terrorists in the world. But think about it, maybe that will get his friends mad, but all the airport's security has gone up!

Hello! Lets get right back to my book. Percy gets to Santa Monica, and looks at the sea, he walked down into it and than a shark comes up and pushes it down. He can breathe and he's dry. He sees the same person he sow in the Mississippi, and talks to her. It told him to go and that his mother wasn't dead. He walked up and told Annabeth and Grover and they were in shock. Hello! Lets get right to my book. They're riding west on a train when they get to St. Louis Annabeth wants to go to the Gateway Arch. When they're riding the elevator up they have to sit with a lady and her little chihuahua. When they go down, all of a sudden, the dog starts to bark, than the dog gets bigger, and before you know it, the lady is a serpant and the dog is a lion. Percy jumped down into the Mississippi River, and he wasn't wet at all. He saw a lady that looked like his mom. The thing said,"go to Santa Monica."
And that's where I stopped.

This Is Mrs. Dodds

Hi! Lets get to Percy Jackson. They are leaving on a bus when they saw 3 old ladies walk on a bus and sit behind the driver. Annabeth noticed that the old ladies were Mrs. Dodds. They said something and started walking toward the back of the bus. Annabeth told Percy to put on her invisibility hat and get away. Percy got away, but the three Mrs. Dodds found Grover and Annabeth. Percy jumped in the front seat and started driving around. He heard the Mrs. Dodds hit the window, that's what he wanted. Although they got back up and started hissing at them. Percy did the stupidest thing he could do, he took off the hat and screamed. Everyone rushed off the bus but him, his friends, and the 3 Mrs. Dodds. Percy got off safely with them and ran into the woods. The bad thing was, they left all there money and food on the bus. That's where I stopped. See you later!

Hello! Now, Grover wanted to try out the flying shoes, and it didn't turn out that way. He was upside down and his backpack was dragging on the ground. Percy was about to leave when Chiron gave him a pen, the same one that was a sword. Chiron told Percy that the pen used to be Percy's fathers. The sword was named Anaklusmos. Chiron told him only to use it for emergencies. But I wouldn't trust Percy with that.

Percy just talked to a Oracle. It told him he has to go find the Lightning Bolt and see it safely in its normal spot. He has to go West to find it. Annabeth said that the can take him to Massachusetts but he has to take it from there.  Than, the leader of captain 11 came up. Annabeth blushed. Luke told Percy good luck. Than, he handed him some brand new shoes. Percy noticed that they looked normal. He thought they were normal but than the shoes sprung wings out the ankles. Almost every thing on Half-Blood Camp isn't normal. Of course, I always have to stop at the good part. See you later alligator!

This Is Chiron

Today I'm talking about The Lightning Thief. He just found out that his dad was Poseidon. Poseidon is one of the 3 great gods. In these 2 chapters he plays capture the flag. Clarrise beats him up but Percy comes back and strikes her. Percy's team won. But while he was sitting in the mud, something came after him. It was going to jump on him but it fainted. It turns out, Chiron had shot the beast. It was a very cold day one day and there was a storm. Chiron told him that the gods are fighting. Zues and Poseidon. They said that a rare lightning bolt has been stolen. They are fighting. It's the sky vs the sea. Chiron told them that they now think that it's him. That's where I stopped. This may be a shorter but I put a lot into it.

Well, lets get right to the summary. Percy woke up in a bed and there was this girl feeding him medicine. Grover was sitting in the corner of the room. He took him to a porch and there was a guy sitting in a chair that wore a tiger striped Hawaiian T-shirt. Grover was wearing a orange shirt that said HALF-BLOOD CAMP. On the yard there were kids playing. The guy in the Hawaiian shirt said that he needed to talk to Grover about protecting Percy. There was another person sitting in a wheelchair that looked like Mr. Brunner. But, it was a guy named Chiron. He went to Yancy Academy just to teach 1 student, Percy Jackson. Chiron showed him around. They saw some cabins. He told Percy that he was staying in cabin 11. Annabeth took over from there. They met someone named Clarisse. Clarisse dragged Percy into the girl's bathroom and was about to put his head in the toilet when the toilets and showers started spraying, they sprayed all over Clarisse, and Percy was sitting in the only dry spot.

This Is The Bull That Choked His Mom To Death

Hello! My name is Kayd as you know and I'm blogging about a book called The Lightning Thief. Well Percy finally gets to meet his mother. She's dating this guy named Gabe. Percy likes to call him Smelly Gabe. When he got home Gabe was with his friends playing a game of poker and drinking beer. His mom was working at the time so he went to his room. When his mother got home, she brought some candy from the shop (where she works). All of the candy is blue (because she met Percy's dad on the ocean, but he died in a plane crash). His mom told him that they were going to the beach to spend some time together in a cabin. It didn't turn out so well, Grover came to the door struck by lightning and he had no pants on. His mom made Percy tell  her what he didn't before. They got in the car and rode to Percy's summer school (witch he hated). Than the car got struck by lightning, landed in a ditch full of mud, and nobody could get out. There was a crack in the roof of the car. Than, a bull person came to the car. Percy got out and his mom got Grover to sit up (he was struck by lightning). His mom was getting to the car when the bull picked her up by the neck, and choked her to death. Percy ended up killing the bull and than I had to stop.

I'm reading a book in Guided Reading called The Lightning Thief. Percy Jackson goes to a school Yancy Academy a private school for trouble kids in New York, and yes, Percy Jackson is in trouble a lot. They were taking a field trip to Manhattan. Percy was determined to be good this field trip. The thing was, he was never good on field trips. They were eating lunch when a mean girl named Nancy Bobofit came and was making fun of Percy's friend Grover. He didn't know what he really did but the next thing he knew was that Nancy was sitting in the fountain screaming Percy pushed me! Mrs. Dodds (chaperon) brought him inside a building than, all of a sudden she was a creature that had yellow fangs and bat like wings. Than, his favorite teacher Mr. Brunner came in and tossed Percy a pen, Percy clicked it and it was a sword. Percy struck Mrs. Dodds with the sword and when he walked out, he walked to Mr. Brunner and he said that's my pen. No one seemed to notice that Mrs. Dodds wasn't there. He went up to Grover and he just said who's Mrs. Dodds? When he was going back to his cabin he overheard Mr. Brunner and Grover talking. They were talking about how worried they were for Percy. Percy dropped his book in shocked and Mr. Brunner and Grover went silent and headed for the door. Percy ran into a closet and they didn't even notice. That night he talked to Grover, he told him all about what he heard. It turned out, Grover and everyone else wasn't telling the truth. They were going on a trip when the bus broke down, they had to sit outside and wait. They saw to ladies sitting in chairs knitting large (very large) socks. Grover pulled Percy on the bus. He looked stressed out. The ladies got a scissors and cut the yarn. This means that when the ladies cut the yarn that means death, said Grover.

Mrs. Frisby and the rats of NIMH

I'm reading a book called Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. Mrs. Frisby is a mother, and her husband died (Jonathan Frisby). One of her sons (Timothy) is very sick, he has pnemonia. She gets medicine from Mr. Ages. One day, she saw a crow that was attached to a string witch was attached to a fence. Than, the farmers cat named Dragon came along and was walking toward Mrs. Frisby. She saves the crow just in time than just barely made it by jumping on the crows back. The crows name was Jeremy. Jeremy takes her to her home. Than, she sees a bunch of rats taking what looked like a string into a thorny bush. The next time she saw Jeremy she asked him about the rats. Than, she heard Mr. Fizgibbon and his 2 sons talking. They were talking about plowing in less than a week. She talked to Jeremy and he said to go to the tallest tree and there will be an old owl that would be able to help you. She had to go at a certain time because he was gone hunting or at home sleeping. She had to go right when he woke up. When she was talking to him he couldn't answer. Than, he said,"wait, what's your name?"
"Mrs. Frisby."
"Do you know Jonathan Frisby?"
"Yes."
"Well, there may be a way, go to the rats that you saw the other day. Ask to talk to Nicodemous. He should be able to help."
So she went to the bush. She couldn't find an entrance because it was so thorny. Than, she saw a part where there was no thorns, and a little entrance hole. She walked down and saw a guard (Brutus) in front of a entrance she asked for Nicodemous and he said no. When she was walking out, she saw someone coming an it was Mr. Ages, and he had a cast on his leg. He said that this was Mrs. Frisby to the guard and he let her and Mr. Ages in. Than, they made a plan to move her house to a safe spot. They put a powder in Dragon's bowl that made him fall asleep. They successfully get her house moved. Than, exterminators come and try and kill the rats. One almost dies but didn't end out dieing (Brutus). Although, some do die.

Hello! Today I'm blogging about the Blue Whales. In class we had to blog about an endangered animal, and I chose the Blue Whale. Here are some really cool facts:

Blue Whale!!!

1. Blue Whales grow to be about 80 feet, and weigh about 120 tons.
2. The female Blue Whales are longer and weigh more than the males (the largest Blue Whale was 94 feet, and weighed about 174 tons!)
3. The largest Blue Whale has a heart that weighs 1,000 pounds and 14,000 pounds of blood circulating through it's body.
4. The heart of the Blue Whale is about the size of a Volkswagon bug car!
5. A human could crawl through one of it's major blood vessels.
6. Blue Whales are the loudest animals on Earth.
7. The color of the Blue Whale is usually blue-gray with gray spots.
8. The underbelly has brown, yellow, or gray specks.
9. They have 320 pairs of baleen (teeth that strain) in their mouth.
10. It has 2 blowholes.
11. They have a 2-14 inch thick layer of blubber.
12. They usually swim in pods (groups). They sometimes swim in pairs.
13. They breathe air by going up to the surface and breathing through 2 blowholes located near the top of its head.

Clydesdale Horse

Hello! Today I'm blogging about the Clydesdale horse. The Clydesdale horses came from Scotland in 1837. It is used for coal fields. This horse breed is very active. The most common color is bay. If you don't know what bay is, it is a reddish brown color. The Clydesdale horse is a very big breed. The breed began to spread around Scotland and northern England. Mrs. Frisby and the rats of NIMH

Hello! Today I'm blogging about a book I am reading. So far Mrs. Frisby went out to find food, she found an empty stump that had a lot of food. She brought corn back for breakfast. Her son Timothy, was sick. she had to take him to the doctor Mr. Ages. She went there when Timothy was born, he was very small and sick. This time he was there because he had pneumonia. She got some medicine for him. In chapter 3, Mrs. Frisby found a crow named Jeremy, stuck to a piece of string and was now tied to the fence. A cat named Dragon was watching and could see them. The crow started to panic, but Mrs. Frisby said to stop because the cat was coming closer and closer. At the last second, the crow got out and Mrs. Frisby jumped on his back and Jeremy took her home. She saw a weird looking group of mice bringing some string into a bush. Than, she heard Mr. Fitzgibbon's tractor. They were getting ready to plow, but luckily, the ground was full of frost and couldn't be plowed for 5 days. Than, one day, Jeremy took Mrs. Frisby to the oldest owl in the forest. Jeremy said that she could solve her problem with Timothy and the plow. The owl said to go to the rats she saw, and said they could help her move her house. She went to the house and found a little way to get in. When she got in she saw the biggest rat ever!

Tsunami Hits Japan

Hello! Today I'm blogging about an Earthquake that hit Japan. First of all, here are some facts:

1. Police said 200 to 300 people were killed in the Northeastern coast of Sendai.
2. It was a 23 foot tsunami.

     3.  It is going to hit the United States, but not as bad as it hit in Japan.
Now, it did end up hitting the Oregon and Hawaii, but there wasn't as much damage. Do you think that they got up and the morning and they all thought that they were going to die? Probably not. ARIZONA CARDINALS VS ATLANTA FALCONS (part 1) (2nd version)

   "Left," said #2 M. Ryan.
    The players shook hands, and they went to the side line where their teams were. The kicker #3 M. Bryant will kick off to #15 S. Breaston. BOOM!!! Wow, he almost made it threw the field goal! R. Bartel is one of the back up QBs for the Cardinals, and he'll come  on to the field for the 1st time tonight. R. Bartel is under center with #45 R. Maui'a the FB right behind him, and #36 L. Stephens-Howling the HB is right behind the FB. R. Bartel gets the snap, fakes the hand off to the FB and pitches it to the #36 L. Stephens-Howling for a gain of 6.
   Nice run there. Now, it is 2nd and 4. D. Anderson is now on the field for the Cardinals. The QB D. Anderson is in the shot gun, gets the snap, throws a quick bullet to a WR named M. Komar. He breaks a tackle, and M. Komar is in the open! The 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, and touchdown!!!!!!!!!! That was a really good play by the offense.
   J. Feeley, the kicker makes the extra point. That was a pretty good drive by Arizona. J. Feeley will kick off to #32 J. Norwood. J. Feeley kicks, touchback. If I were Atlanta, I would stick to my game plan, and if it doesn't work, you're screwed, and if you can't run on them, GAME OVER!!! J. Wilson will come on try to tie the score. G. Johnson is the only one in the backfield for the Falcons.
   They give the ball to G. Johnson and he gains around 3 yards. Now it's 2nd & 7 on the Atlanta 23 yard line. There is 9:37 left to go in the 1st quarter, and there is 24:37 left to go until the halftime show brought to you by the Verizon Wireless. The Falcons got to the line with 5 seconds left on the play clock so they will take their first time out of the game. Now, we'll see the leading WRs, RBs, and QBs for both of the teams. The leading QB for the Cardinals is D. Anderson, he's 1 for 1, he has 74 yards, and has 1 touchdown. Atlanta's best QB is J. Wilson. He didn't try a pass but he was the only one QB on the field for the Falcons. The best RB for the Cardinals is L. Stephens-Howling. He's ran 1, and he has 6 yards. Atlanta's top RB is G. Johnson, he has 1 rush and 3 yards. The top WR for Arizona is M. Komar, he has 1 catch, 74 yards, and 1 touchdown. There is no leading receiver for the Falcons because they never threw or ran it to one of them. Now both teams are ready to resume the game. It is 2nd & 7 on the Atlanta 23 yard line. J. Wilson gets the snap, FUMBLE! C. Campbell jumps on it for the Cardinals! Wow, nice job by Darnell Dockett to knock the ball out of the QB's hands! It looks like Atlanta came out here to lose! There is 6:48, and there is 21:48 left to go until half time. So now it is 1st & 10 on the Atlanta 23 yard line for the red hot Arizona Cardinals! D. Anderson is in the shot gun next to Jason Wright, and on the other side of D. Anderson is R. Maui'a. Dereck Anderson gets the snap, throws it to M. Komar on a in route, he's still up and running! He will dive for the end zone... TOUCHDOWN ARIZONA CARDINALS!!! That is M. Komar's and D. Anderson's 2nd touchdown tonight! Feeley makes the extra point. Just like that the score is Arizona 14, Atlanta 0. I think it's beginning to smell like a blow out! Jay Feeley will kick off to D. Frunles. Again Jay Feeley will kick a touchback. The last time these 2 teams faced, Atlanta won 41 to 7. Last year Arizona went 5-11 and Atlanta went 13-3. I'm shocked Arizona is winning 14-0. The QB is in the WR position. The HB is in the shot gun, gets the snap, and he throws a strike to Roddy White who reverses his field and hands it to the QB and, he launches it deep... caught! The WR dove for it and cau- wait, the refs are discussing, and now they rule it as an incomplete pass! I like that call because when he hit the ground the ball kind of bobbled around in his hands. That was close. Now they're going to take a booth review. There is 2:12 left to go in the first quarter. While they are reviewing, lets look at the games for the preseason week 1. Here are the 1:00 games: Dallas @ Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh @ New York, San Francisco @ Carolina, San Diego @ Buffalo, Arizona @ New Orleans, Kansas City @ Baltimore, Chicago @ Atlanta, Detroit @ Seattle, Tennessee @ Miami, St. Louis @ New York, and Oakland @ New England. Those are some good games there. Here are the 4:15 games: Washington @ Minnesota, Houston @ Cleveland, Denver @ Cincinnati, and Philadelphia @ Green Bay. Those are some good games, too. The night game is Indianapolis @ Jacksonville. The ref just said that the pass was incomplete. I agree with that call there. Now it is 2nd & 10 on the Atlanta 20 yard line. If you want to hear the next play go to chapter 2.
CHAPTER TWO Okay, the QB is under center with no one in the back field. Gets the snap, no one is open, so he decides to run it! He fumbles it and the Cardinals recover!

Hello! Today I'm blogging about the Union. The Union was the north part of the Civil War. The Union faced the south called the Confederacy. The Confederacy wanted slavery and the Union didn't. They also fought because the north states wanted the government to control the states and the south states wanted the states to control themselves. The Union won and slavery stopped. Republicans want the states to have more power and Democrats want the government to have more power. I hope you learned something from my blog, bye bye!

Story On A Weird Spring Time Event

Today I'm blogging about a weird spring time event. It's a little story I wrote. Here it goes:
   It was midnight with the sun out. There were red, yellow, and brown colored leaves on the trees. There were 8 inches of snow on the ground. There were Christmas lights on the houses and Jack'O'lanterns on the porches. People were out mowing the snow! People were swimming in the pool when it was below 0! People were shopping for shorts and sandals. The sky was green with a pink rainbow. A split second later everything went dark...

UFOs

Doesn't That Look Real!?

Hello! Today I'm blogging about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO). When I look at pictures, I see most of them are fake, but I saw one that looked real, so I clicked on it and it said file history, so I clicked that. I didn't get anything after that, but I thought that if there was a real picture that had history to it, UFOs might actually be real. i think though that planets don't have any source of technology. So I don't know how they can be real. When you comment, please tell me if you think that they are real. Why or why not? The Titanic

Oh, there you are! I was just reading about the Titanic on the internet. The Titanic was the largest passenger steamship in the world! It was going to New York City from England. It set off on April 10th, 1912. On April 14th, four days after it left, it hit an iceberg and sank at 2:20 AM the following morning. 1,517 people died (which I think was probably all of the people since it was in the ocean. I think that that was the most devastating thing ever. Hello everybody! On this blog I'm going to give you some short summaries on 2 stories I've been writing. The first one is called Arizona Cardinals vs Atlanta Falcons:Hall of Fame Game. This story is about one of the best teams in the NFC vs one of the worst teams in the league. The Cardinals (worst team) would shock the Falcons and end up whooping them. The other story is called The Ghost and the Missing Fourth Grade Class:Mrs. Ulin. That one is about a ghost that Jon sees, and than mysteriously, everyone in his class including his teacher just disappear. Hello Everybody! I've been reading a book called Beware of Dog. It's a pretty good book. I'm only on page 50 out of 167. It starts out with Thomas going somewhere to experiment with Violet. When they are doing that Thomas and Violet meet a dog. When they are walking home with the dog, it begins to rain very hard. It rained so hard that Thomas and Violet both fell and couldn't get up because it was so deep! Than, lightning hit a nearby tree and a big branch fell off and almost fell on them! They managed to get out of the way, but they landed in the middle of the street! A truck came down that same street, but the dog went up and knocked the kids to the other side of the street. The driver (Mr. McCarthy) quickly got up and asked the kids if they were alright, and they said ya. He told the kids to close their eyes as he pulled the dog out from under the truck. Surprisingly, he didn't get hit by the 10 ton truck! They quickly got in the truck and drove to the vet. The vet told the kids to go home and come back tomorrow. Once Thomas woke up, he had to eat breakfast, and once he did, he grabbed his bike and whizzed by Violet who raced to catch up with him. The vets aid the dog was all right. How To Do A 2 Digit Times A 2 Digit

Hello! Last week in math we learned how to do a 2 digit number times another 2 digit number. Lets say our problem is 32x56. Do the ones column, 6x2=12, carry the 1 and put the 2 down. Now do 3x6+1=19, just put the 19 down next to the 2. So for the first column you should have 192. Now, since we're doing the ten's column we have to put a 0 under the 2. Now do 5x2 witch equals 10, put the 0 down and carry the 1. Now do 3x5+1 witch equals 16, just put the 16 by the 2 0s. So for the 2nd column you should have 1,600. Now add, so your final answer should be 1,792. I hope you just learned something from this blog, see ya!

Here's the book that I read!

Hi everybody! Today I'm blogging about a book I read called Second-String Center. It's about this guy named Dunk who is trying out for the Hudson City Hornets. He's competing for the center spot on the team. He's fighting for the center spot against the really good Jared and the taller Louie. They all end up getting a spot on the team. They lost their first game to the Palisades. One day after practice, Jared told Dunk that his parents are getting a divorce. Dunk didn't think about the game, he was thinking about how bad it felt if his parents got a divorce. The last game of the season, the Hornets faced one of the hardest teams in the league. Jared was not good in the game, so Dunk had to come up big, and he did. There were 7 seconds on the clock and the Hornets were up by 3. Dunk was at the line. He had a flash back of last summer in the semifinals when he choked when the game was on the line. He sunk the first one and the second. The final seconds went off the clock when the Hornet's players picked up Dunk and cheered. In the locker room, one of Dunk's teammates said when the best player was not good, the second string made the play. Jared was mad at himself, but happy for Dunk. Hoped you like my blog, bye bye!

Despicable Me!!!

Hello! On this blog I'll talk about a funny movie called Despicable Me! I love the little minions! The movie starts by a tour of a pyramid. One of the tourists was a little boy. He was running around with a little plastic airplane, and he ran up a ramp and falls off on to the pyramid! The pyramid was stolen! Now it was just an inflatable copy of the pyramid! When a different villain named Gru finds out about this he wanted to take the moon!!! Gru goes to the Bank of Evil to try to get some money, and there he meets a young super-villain named Vector. Vector annoys Gru. The Bank of Evil president Mr. Perkins refuses to give Gru the money unless he finds a shrink ray that is for Gru's plan. Mr. Perkins tells Gru that the younger super-villains are better, like Vector, because Vector was the one who stole the pyramid. Gru and his minions stole the shrink ray from a secret lab in Asia, but Vector took it back and shrunk Gru's ship. Gru tried to steal the shrink ray back but failed many times. When 3 girls named Margo, Edith, and Agnes go up to thew lair to sell cookies to Vector, Gru adopted the 3 girls. He adopted the girls because he had a plan to steal the shrink ray back. His assistant Dr. Nefario built robots that look like cookies. The girls sold the cookies to Vector, and the robots helped Gru steal the shrink ray back. On the way home, the girls wanted to go to an amusement park. Gru agrees to leave them there, but an attendant said that the girls need an adult to ride with them. Gru ended up having fun with the girls at the amusement park. When they got home, Gru presents his planto Mr. Perkins by video. The girls kept interrupting him. Mr. Perkins still wouldn't give Gru the money, although he doesn't have a problem with the plan. He just wants a younger super-villain doing it. Mr. Perkins calls Vector to the Bank of Evil to inform him that Gru has the shrink ray. Vector said that he'll get to the moon. Gru almost quit his plan, but the girls and the minions start a collection. However Gru has to make a choice, go to the moon, or go to the girl's dance recital. Dr. Nefario sees the girls are a distraction and calls the orphan house president to take them back. Gru, the minions, and the girls were heartbroken. Gru successfully shrinks the moon and puts it in his pocket. Gru remembers the recital and rushes to it. He was to late. There was a note that said if Gru gave Vector the moon, he would give Gru the girls. Gru gave the moon to Vector, but he wouldn't give Gru the girls. I don't have time for how Gru saved the girls but he did. Se you later, bye bye!

Packers Shock The World!!!

Wow, that was a good game last night. If you didn't see Super Bowl 45 last night, here's a little recap. Do you know Deion Sanders? He's the guy on NFL Network that does Prime Time. He did the coin toss because he was voted into the Hall of Fame. The Packers won the toss and wanted to kick first. The Steelers went 3 and out, and the Packers almost did the same because their wide receiver dropped a touchdown pass, but that same wide receiver named Jordy Nelson made a really good catch for a touchdown! On the kickoff, there was a penalty on the Steelers witch brought them back all the way to about the 5 yard line. On one of the next plays, Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to Nick Collins! Nick Collins dived for the end zone and he... scored! Just like that the score is 14-0. The Steelers managed to get a field goal. At the half, the score was 21-17. You know how in the regular season the half time show is about 10 minutes? This half time show was about 30 minutes! The Steelers actually took off their pads and got something to eat! The half time show was all right, and you know how the Black Eyed Peas were going to play? So did Usher! I didn't think either of them sounded that great. In the 3rd quarter the Steelers defense did a pretty good job of not letting the Packers score. The Packers were up 28-17 when the Steelers scored and got the 2 point conversion. The Packers got a field goal. With about 2:00 minutes left in the game the Steelers had the ball around their own 10 yard line. They started to drive the ball, but the Packers held them to a 4th and 5. Ben Roethlisberger tried to squeeze one to Mike Wallace but he couldn't hold on to the ball!! The Packers had won their 4th Super Bowl! The MVP was the GB QB Aaron Rodgers! I think that was a good game. I thought the Steelers were going to score a touchdown and win the game 32-31. I was wrong though. You know how the Super Bowl trophy is called the Lombardi trophy? They named that trophy after Vince Lombardi. He was a coach for the Packers when they won Super Bowl 1 and 2. WHAT I DID OVER THE LITTLE WINTER BREAK

Hi! Well, I will tell you about what I did over the 2 days we had off of school. I have Madden 11 so I played it. I'm on the franchise mode. That's where you choose your favorite team and you can choose your team's players if you want to. I played the Super Bowl. I was the Cardinals and they were the Browns. I beat them 16 to 28. The hardest game that season was when I faced the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game. I was up by a touchdown with about 0:36 seconds left in the 4th quarter, and the Packers had the ball and it was 4th and 1. Guess what? I STOPPED THEM!!!!! I was jumping up and down yelling the Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl. My brother was about to cry because he was a huge Packer fan. Then, I heard my dad say that's not gonna happen for another 20 years. I believed him, too. I really like Madden 11. Maybe you should try it, bye bye.

More Larry Fitzgerald!

Oh! There you are! I was just watching this really cool video on Larry Fitzgerald! If you didn't know, I love the Cardinals! Especially Larry Fitzgerald. I didn't think he was going to the Pro Bowl, but the GB guys could not be there so Larry took over for Greg Jennings. I put this video on here so you can see how good he is and then you will like the Cardinals! If you end out liking the Cardinals, be ready for some bad plays by them. Hello! Today in 4-0 my glasses broke! I was just sitting there and POP! The next thing I know is my glasses fell off and there's a lens on my lap. So I went to the nurse, she called my mom, and we went to the eye doctor, and they fixed it. It didn't take long. When I got back, everyone said wow, that was quick. Apolo Anton Ohno

Hello everybody! You know who I am so I don't have to tell you. I'm reading a really good book called Going for the Gold: Apolo Anton Ohno. I'm only page 38, but I've learned a lot so far in the book. His dad was born in Japan, but Apolo was born in Seattle. It said you would think a U.S.A short track speed skater would be born somewhere cold where stuff can freeze for 5 or 6 months. His mother abandoned him when he was little. He got into trouble a lot. His friend would sometimes kill people. One day, Mr. Ohno was putting Apolo on a plane to New York, and after Mr. Ohno left, Apolo called his friend to drive him back to Seattle. Apolo wouldn't come home so Mr. Ohno called Apolo's mom's sister from Oregon to come talk to Apolo. It made him come home. The next time, Mr. Ohno went with him to New York. Then, Mr. Ohno went back to Seattle. At the skating camp, they ran from the camp to Lake Placid. The run was about 5 miles long. All of you think that Apolo would always do that, but not even close. He would walk for a minute , but he would stop at Pizza Hut and eat. Then, when the group was coming back, he would run back with them. He got so big, everyone started calling him "chunky". When you comment tell me would you rather have a delicious meal at Pizza Hut and be called chunky or would you run about 5 miles? I'm still reading the book so I'll have more to blog about see you later, KAYD OUT!

John Skelton Arizona Cardinals

Hello everybody! You probably don't know who I'm talking about today. He plays for the Arizona Cardinals. He is surprisingly there starting QB. He played college at Fordham University. He's #19. He is 22 right now. He was born in El Paso, Texas on March 17, 1988. He was picked in the 5th round of the 2010 draft. In college in 2007 he was given an award for 22 touchdowns! I've never heard about John Skelton when he played in college. Here are some awards he earned in his college career:

PITTSBURGH VS JETS PACKERS VS BEARS

Hello everybody! I'm going to talk to you about 2 big games this weekend. First, I'll talk to you about the NFC game. Packers vs Bears. The Bears had a first round bye in the playoffs, they faced Seattle after the biggest upset in the playoffs. The Bears came out and gave the Seahawks there A game. Greg Olsen caught his longest reception in his career. The Bears defense did good until the end and let the Seahawks get about 25 points. That wasn't enough for the win though. The Packers got here after whooping the Falcons. Aaron Rodgers had another big day.
Now lets do the AFC. Pittsburgh had a first round bye in the playoffs then beat the Ravens barely. The Jets won against the Colts thanks to Nick Folk. Then beat the #1 seed team by a touchdown. These 2 teams faced in the regular season the Jets beat the Steelers 22, 19. Mark Sanchez will need to have a really good game for them to win. Same with the Jets defense, if the Jet's defense can stop Ben Roethlisberger, they'll be golden.
What's interesting is that the 4 teams are 2 2 seeds and 2 6 seeds. Well see you later, KAYD OUT!!!

Going to the Carroll Tiger's Basketball Game

Hello! Today I'm going to talk to you about a Carroll basketball game I went to. It was Carroll vs Perry. I got there when the girls just started. Jace's sister was on that team, she's #10. She made a lot of points! They were winning so badly that they put the backups in! They won like 80-20 or some thing! After the girls game, they brought out some of the coaches and the girls that used to play for Carroll, the speaker said that they won 2 straight Iowa  championships! There was a radio speaking that was back in the championship. Here's something that it said: Five seconds left the 3 for the win is... no good! Carroll Wins!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's another thing that it said: 3 seconds left Carroll down down by 2 the half court shot is... GOOD!!!!!!!! It was kind of cool to listen to that. Then before the boys game they gave an award to Casey Kasperbauer for scoring 1,000 points! That's good! The boys started off not so good. Then they started to pull away. At half time there were some people dressed in something weird. Carroll went on to whoop Perry. They have a pretty good team. I want to go to another game soon. See you later, bye!

ATLANTA AND NEW ENGLAND GET SHOCKED BY PACKERS AND JETS

Anything can happen in the playoffs!

Hello everybody! I told you I was going to do a blog after the game, but before I talk about the Green Bay game, I'm going to talk about the shocker in New England. It was a division game in the playoffs, the Jets against the Patriots. The Jets got to this game by a last second field goal by Nick Folk to win the game. The Patriots had a bye because they were the best team in the AFC. On the Patriots first drive of the game Tom Brady threw a interception which was almost returned all the way for a touchdown but got tackled around the 10. The Jets went 3 and out on the drive, and the kicker Nick Folk even missed the field goal! Although that field goal never hurted them. Now lets skip to the end of the game. Shonn Greene got a hand off and went into the end zone for a touchdown with about 30 seconds left in the game. If Shonn would of took a knee at the 2 yard line the game would've been over. the score was the Jets 28, the Patriots 14. The Patriots scored a touchdown with a pass from Tom Brady to Deion Branch. Shayne Graham tried the onside kick but missed it. Then the game was over. This blog is probably more on the New England game instead of the Green Bay one because the Packers whooped their tushy! UNIVERSITY OF PHEONIX STADIUM

Hey everyone! If you didn't know I LOVE THE ARIZONA CARDINALS!!!!!! So today, I'm doing a blog on their stadium. If you haven't seen it, it looks like a giant toaster with red lights on the front that says University Of Phoenix Stadium. Its field comes out of the stadium, too! That's awesome! I'm guessing it's very hot in their because it's a dome. Did you know... that the roof on the stadium can open and close??? Some of the events that the stadium has held are: Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Arizona Cardinal's home football games, Wrestlemania, Monster Jam, BCS National Championship game, and much more! The stadium's first preseason game was on August 12, 2006 when the Cardinals beat the Steelers 21-13. The stadium hosted a soccer game on February 7, 2007 when 62,462 fans watched the U.S. National team beat Mexico, 2-0. I would like to visit their someday and watch the Arizona Cardinals whoop the Green Bay Packers. One more thing, if you thought that the Arizona Cardinals played in Phoenix, you're wrong, they play in Glendale, Arizona. I don't know why they call it the University of Phoenix Stadium, maybe they should call it the University of Glendale Stadium, bye!

SEATTLE VS CHICAGO 2ND DIVISION PLAYOFF GAME IN THE NFC

After one of the most shocking playoff game ever. The Seahawks beat the Super Bowl Champs. Everyone in Mr. Orlano's class got let down except for of course Mr. Orlano. He was gone today, so when we walked into the room, there was a note on the board that said, Boom! Mr. Orlano was right! Their are 2 things I want to say to that. ! C'mon man to Drew Brees, Seattle has one of worst defenses in the NFC! 2. You know that Who Dat thing that the Saints say? Sometimes the fans chant, "Who Dat gonna beat those Saints Who Dat!" I would think of something else about now. I bet the Bears are going to do the same thing that the Saints did a couple of days ago. I'll do another blog after that game, too. See yah later!

PACKERS VS FALCONS DIVISION PLAYOFF GAME IN THE NFC

Thirteen people were let down in Mr. Orlano's class because 13 people voted for the Eagles when they lost to the Packers by 5 points! Holden McGinnis is a huge Eagle's fan. So when my brother Ty was watching the show after the game, he told me to tell Holden that the Packers won against the Eagles. The Eagles had a chance to win, but Michael Vick threw an interception to the Pro Bowl snub Nick Collins. Number Forty-four James Starks had a huge game! He actually tried to return a kick off! Number eighty Donald Driver also had a good day. The Packers are not going to beat the Atlanta Falcons! I guarantee you. It's just because Matt Ryan and Roddy White are pretty much unstoppable together. Everyone in my family (Packer fans) pretty much are coming over to my house for 2 reasons. 1. So they can watch the Packers get whooped by the Falcons. 2. Because my family has a HD 32 inch flat screen hanging on the wall! I'll do a blog after the Packer Falcon game, bye!

You probably don't know who Rodney Coe is. He is a really good running back, kick returner, and line backer! He's like Shonn Greene. Shonn Greene wasn't the big name when he started at Iowa. Neither is Rodney Coe. He is from Edwardsville, Illinois highschool. He's the future Shonn Greene, but he's going to the Arizona Cardinals! He's #21. He should be #1, though.

What I've Learned

I've learned a lot of stuff from other peoples blogs. In Science I learned about the Inner and Outer planets. The Inner planets are the closest to the sun, and the Outer planets are the farthest from the sun. Pluto is not a planet because they found other things like Pluto that are smaller and some are even bigger! So, scientists said that all those planets like Pluto were called Dwarf Planets. In grammar, I learned about how you can replace pronoun with an antecedents. Some pronouns are they, our, us, we, them, it, he, him, she, and her. Like here's an ex: I threw the ball and the dog gave it back to me. You could of said, I threw it and the dog gave it back to me. In social studies I learned that all big cities are near big water because ships can come in. In math, I learned that the answer to a multiplication problem is called the product. The answer to a division problem is called a quotient. In spelling, I always said that caring was spelled careing. Then, my mom said you don't want to vowels together. That's what I learned in the past couple weeks, bye!

In the NFC the Wild Card match up is the Philadelphia  Eagles vs the Green Bay Packers. Everybody on ESPN and NFL Network think the Packers are going to win, but I wouldn't count the Eagles out yet. Michael Vick was the greatest QB in the NFC, I think. Aaron Rodgers is right behind him. Aaron Rodgers had over 50 Fantasy points against another good team the New York Giants. (The Giants missed the playoffs because of the Packers win over the Bears.)The Packers won against the Eagles in Week 1, but Michael Vick wasn't the starter. Jermichael Finley and Ryan Grant were huge losses to the Packers. I thought that they did well with Brandon Jackson and Donald Lee, though. We'll see what happens this weekend in Philadelphia, bye!

The 7-5 Iowa Hawkeyes faced the 10-2 Missouri Tigers. Iowa came in with a 3 game losing streak. Missouri came in with a 3 game winning streak. Marcus Coker had about 150 rushing yards in the first half! Ricky Stanzi had 2,804 yards and 25 touchdowns against 4 interceptions. I guess D.J.K. and Robinson didn't bother them at all. I'm not going to have any more sports blogs until after the Super Bowl, bye!

Hello, I'm going to talk to you about a very good football game on Christmas night! It was the Arizona Cardinals v.s. the Dallas Cowboys. Go Cardinals! The first 2 possessions for Dallas were interceptions returned for touchdowns (pic six). One by Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and the other by Greg Toler. Then, third string Arizona QB John Skelton, threw a long touchdown pass to rookie Andre Roberts, there was a flag, but it was on the defense. Then, Dallas kicker David Beuhler, made a field goal. Arizona was winning 21-3.Then, Dallas QB Jon Kitna threw a touchdown pass to his tight end Jason Witten. 10-21. Then Dallas running back Marion Barber scored a touchdown and David Buehler made a field goal, too. Now the score is Arizona Cardinals 21, Dallas Cowboys 20. Dallas QB Jon Kitna gets hurt.Arizona kicker Jay Feeley makes a field goal. Stephen McGee comes in for him and throws a touchdown pass to Miles Austin with about 1:30 seconds to go in the game. But, David Beuhler misses the extra point! 26-24. 4th and 16. John Skelton passes it and it's caught by Larry Fitzgerald. That was his only catch of the night. They're in field goal range now, but a penalty. 10 seconds to go and the penalty is a 10 second run off. But it wasn't! 5 yard penalty and Jay Feeley's kick is....... Good!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dallas couldn't score with 5 seconds left. They tried to lateral it across the field but it didn't work. Go Cardinals! Bye!!
