GEORGE WASHINGTON

On April 30, 1789 George Washington became president of the United States of America. He was born in 1732. In 1754 he fought in the French and Indian War. Washington longed to retire to his fields at Mount Vermont. But he soon realized the Nation under its articles of Confederation wasn't functioning well. So he became a Prime Mover in Philadelphia in1787.

I HOPE YOU LEARNED SOMETHING TODAY
