You probably know some of the earliest Americans like Christopher Columbus. When Columbus arrived he thought he had reached a group of islands between Asia and Australia. Those islands were called East Indies. Early Americans came to this part of the world from different countries. Scientists think the first Americans came from Asia! However they got here Americans have been living over 11,000 years!!!!!!!!!!
