ANDREW JACKSON the 7th president

Jackson became president 1829-1837. Born in Carolina in
1767. He became an outstanding young lawyer in Tennessee.
In the war of 1812 he became a national hero by defeating the
British in New Orleans. In his 1st annual message he said he
wanted to eliminate Elector College. Then sadly but truly
he died June 1845.
